Headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or pain at the injection site may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor promptly. Tell your doctor immediately if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: changes in hearing, feeling of fullness or ringing in the ears, dizziness, eye/vision problems, loss of appetite, tingling or numbness of the skin/hands/feet, seizures, weakness, muscle cramps, tremors, persistent fever, change in the amount of urine, bloody or pink-colored urine. A serious allergic reaction to this drug is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of a serious allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing. Use of this medication for prolonged or repeated periods may result in a secondary infection (e.g., oral or vaginal fungal infection). Contact your doctor if you notice white patches in your mouth, a change in vaginal discharge, or any other new symptoms.
